The ocean turbulence, which led to diffusion and mixing of the various ocean substances is one of the important and common form of ocean mixing. The internal energy of the ocean passed from large scale to small scale and then to the micro-scale, and finally dissipated in the form of micro-scale turbulence. The Ocean turbulence plays a particularly important role in the water exchange and ocean energy evolution, and the mixing process of ocean turbulence plays an extremely important role in regulating ocean thermohaline circulation. Therefore, ocean turbulence research has become an important field of marine science research.The research of ocean turbulence is closely related to the development of ocean turbulence observation instruments. For our country, there are still some certain gaps on technology research of turbulence observation compared with other foreign countries. Therefore, in order to meet the urgent need of domestic ocean turbulence observation materials, the development of micro-scale turbulence observation instruments with an independent intellectual property rights have an important application value and scientific significance in improving the achievements in the field of marine turbulence mixing in our country.In this paper, we have developed the Self-contained turbulence observation platform and micro-scale ocean turbulence acquisition circuits. By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of turbulence measurement platform, we have designed-the mechanical structure of profile measurement platform. Based on the pressure and reservoir test, we verify the platform that which can work in the depth of 1500 meters the diving speed can range from 0.3m/s to 0.9 m/s, and the motion state nearly closes to vertical; By analyzing the working principle of profile measuring platform and the collecting principle of ocean turbulence signals, we have finished the design of profile turbulence sample circuit system which mainly includes the main control circuit, the large capacity storage,16-way collecting circuit and so on. Based on the laboratory test, we have verified the stability of the control circuit, the accurate capturing ability of collecting cards, and have met the requirements of turbulence observation. Finally, through the comparative test with MSS90, we prove that shear velocity wave number spectrum can match the Nasmyth theory spectrum well in the wave number space. Observed with the MSS90 profiler synchronously in the same ocean field,our platform consistent with the MSS90 profiler in the magnitude of turbulent kinetic energy dissipation rate that has verified the effectiveness and stability of profiler self-contained turbulence observation platform.
