Automatic Weather Station(AWS) is a surface meteorological observation system that can automatically store and send observation data. With the development of AWS, much of them are installed in towns, streets, mountains and coastal areas. The observation data sent by AWS is very helpful for short-time weather forecast, disaster warning, decision services, forecast verification and forecast assessment etc. It has become an important part of the weather data. But this observation data can’t be better used because it is delayed, invalid and inconsistent sometimes. So quality control and running monitoring have become more and more urgent.Now, 166 automatic weather stations have been installed by Weifang Bureau of Meteorology. These automatic weather stations were designed by different manufacturers, and each manufacturer has its own data receiving and processing software and database. There are some differences in the structure of the individual database. The observation data is only simply judged on file format, the sensors are worn out after long-time running, the quality of data is unreliable because of acquisition problems, all these above factors make a negative influence to a certain extent in the forecast application of the short time, adjacent, small and medium-scale. Aim on this problem, the AWS Running Monitoring and Quality Control System was developed. The c/s structure is used in conjunction with b/s structure in this system. Database, Ajax and flash are also applied in this system. C # and PHP are the main program language.First, domain and foreign weather data quality control methods and development are researched in this thesis; the quality control solution of this system is determined; quality control flowchart and error data handling methods are also given. Secondly, based on business requirements, the function modules of this system are introduced; The use case diagrams and the class diagrams of the c/s structure and b/s structure are illustrated. Then the detailed design method of the system database is given. In the part of implementation, the installing steps of b/s runtime environment are introduced. The flowcharts, design ideas and implementation of the system function modules are also described. In addition, some of the key code and interface screenshots are given. Finally, the system was fully tested, which ensured the system is available and efficient.The quality control of regular observation elements such as temperature, one-hour precipitation, wind speed, humidity and air pressure in Weifang is implemented in this system.The real-time monitoring and message alarm are also implemented. People can use quality-controlled observation data through the interface conveniently.
