Along with the national economic strength and constantly improve, meteorological service also is in vigorous development, the basic meteorological acquisition is also from manual acquisition into computer automatic data acquisition today,In addition data acquisition accuracy,stability,low power consumption and other requirements are further improved.As everyone knows,the development of the times, on the premise of the continuous development of performance and speed of automatic weather station. The functional requirements of meteorological station is also rising.The core of data acquisition for automatic weather station is embedded system,thus to reduce power consumption of device also must start from the embedded itself.The reduction of power consumption of embedded system mainly from two aspects of hardware and software of power consumption.This topic is the analysis of the existingautomatic weather station in the data collector based on the design of hardware. In the analysis of power consumption,starting from the process level.device level,circuit level,RTL level.micro structure level and the power supply layer and other aspects.At the same time with low power consumption characteristics of the peripheral electronic chip system peripheral equipment.Analysis software of power.using the simulation mode.the application software for compiler optimization,We propose a kind of improved OPTASTS algorithm to reduce the power consumption of the system effectiveness simulation.This paper mainly contributions are:The author analyzes the existing automatic weather station data acquisition power consumption of each part.From two aspects of theory and actual measurement power size distribution,analyses the reasons for the power generating part.Design of a new generation of automatic weather station data acquisition system. The hardware platform of the system using ARM9 and MSP430 Processor, extending the 32M SDRAM 32M NANDFlash and at the same time, the design of peripheral circuit.Based on the known hardware power of reason in the analysis of possibility, reduce the power consumption of the system from the software level, and put forward the improved OPTASTS algorithm, and simulated using Skyeye software.The development of the PC software development and application of automatic weather station, the software can not only realize the data cable to download, but also through the mobile network data is downloaded, the communication protocol for the TCP/IP protocol.Through the experimental data the final proof, at the same time, to optimize the design of the system at the level of hardware and software, can be designed to meet the requirements of a new generation of automatic weather station, proper storage and can achieve data and download success. Finally it gives a summary of research on this topic, and describes the the future research work.
