In the field of distributed target testing, high precision time synchronization on the transient signal measurement is very important. In order to solve the time synchronization in the distributed range test system, improve the data acquisition rate of data acquisition system, and fulfil the engineering needs of distributed Sky-screen test system, the development of a high-precision synchronous data acquisition device is very necessary.This thesis analysed the special needs of sky screen target measuring of wide geographical distribution in the data acquisition, counter to these problem of time synchronization and high speed data acquisition of the sky-screen equipment, this thesis use the high-speed single chip microcomputer, programmable logic device technology and high speed serial data acquisition technology, that designed a dedicated high-speed data acquisition system with GPS time synchronization technique.The thesis introduced working principle of the distributed synchronous data acquisition equipment; discussed the method of high accuracy GPS second pulse approaches combined with high stability of local clock, this method realized the time synchronization of each modules in the data acquisition system. It explained the key problem and solution method in this designed system, and described the principle and mechanism of the "time label" in detail.Combined GPS time synchronization with a of high speed AD, it records the trigger time of signal with an accurate AD data acquisition, that makes the association of GPS time accurate data and AD time data. The experiments showed that by using the GPS time service technology, it improve the accuracy and reliability of testing distributed range test system, and the synchronous measurement precision of the measuring system can reach the microsecond level, the collecting function is reliable, and meet the technical index system. It proved the feasibility and reliability of program.
