The magnetotelluric field is a faint natural field, Through detecting this field, wecan get some electrical parameters of underground medium. The magnetotelluricsignal which is measured in the magnetotelluric sound mainly include two electricfields(Ex, Ey) which are vertical each other and three magnetic fields(Hx, Hy, Hz)which are vertical each other. When we mesure using the magnetotelluric sound onthe land, usually we make Ex and Hx towards the north, make Ey and Hy towards thewest, and make Hz upright in virtue of manpower. However the magnetotelluricsound is moved to the seafloor from the land to realize Marine MT, which bring somenew problems technically, one of these problems is that it can't use manpower to setthe pole in the seafloor. Surrounding this technology problem, this paper offers aresolution.This paper discusses the designs of the system for monitoring seafloorenvironment information and how to embed the system in the seafloor magnetotelluricapparatus, which suit for the whole machine characteristic. Realization purpose,technique and collectivity frame are discussed;how to realize time-sharing acquisitioncircuit concretely is analyzed;the function characteristic of environment informationsensor is expounded;the control working mechanism which cooperates software withhardware is expatiated.
