Research On И.Т. Frolov’s Neo-humanism From The Perspective Of Philosophy Of Science And Technology

Neo-Humanism was put forward and advocated by the outstanding Russian philoso pher Ivan Timofeevich Frolov. The development of science and technology brought hu man society not only the all-round progress, but also the negative effect on human being s and the environment where they live. The proposal of Neo-Humanism which advocate s that human’s moral standards and all-round demands should control and guide the dev elopment of science and technology is the reaction to the increasingly serious global iss ues. Nowadays, human existence is closely connected with science and technology, so t he value of Neo-Humanism is unique and irreplaceable.Firstly, this thesis analyses the historical background and theoretical background by setting out the historical context of the philosophy of science and technology where Neo-Humanism came into being; Secondly,the theoretical analysis of Neo-Humanism is given. Meanwhile, its merits and demer its in the process of practice are analyzed and explained. At the end, the contemporary v alue of Neo-Humanism is narrated so as to make people understand the Neo-Humanism from the Perspective of Philosophy of Science and Technology, which is up-to-date and differs from the humanism in Renaissance.Frolov’s Neo-Humanism is practical and scientific, whose theory is helpful in devel oping a correct historical view, social view, humanity view and world view.
