Songjiang basin is a composite Meso-Cenozoic sedimentary basin which is located in Antu County who belong to the east of Jilin province. The formation and evolution of Songjiang Basin is controlled by Liangjiang and Fuerhe fault, which has experienced the fault depression stage of Jurassic and the depression stage of Cretaceous. And there mainly developed Changcai formation and Dalazi formation of lower Cretaceous in Songjiang Basin. We summarize the Songjiang basin formation evolution and sedimentary facies, and analysis of the basin oil and gas accumulation potential and delineate the favorable oil and gas exploration area, which based on collecting and summing up the previous research data, using ordinary thin section identification, cast slices and particle size analysis and various methods of analysis and testingFirst, we study the formation and evolution of the Songjiang basin and its sedimentary characteristics, through the analysis of the regional geological background, tectonic evolution history, and the heavy magnetic data. Songjiang basin is a complex sedimentary basin, and the lower part of the basin is a faulted basin, but the upper part is a depression. Songjiang basin formed in the early Middle Jurassic, and enter the peak period of deposition In the late Early Cretaceous. The maximum depth of the basin basement can reach 7500 m, and gradually become shallow to the south. The basin can be divided intofive sub tectonic units, which are the Western Depression, the Western Uplift, the Middle Depression and the Southeast Uplift. The sedimentary environment in early Cretaceous has experienced a process from the early alluvial fan facies, fan delta facies sedimentary to late lake facies sedimentary evolution.Secondly, we study on the basic conditions of Songjiang basin such as source rocks, reservoirs and seal rocks. There are two good source rocks in Songjiang basin, which are in the second Member of Dalazi Formation and the second Member of Changcai Formation. And the former is the main source rock strata of the Songjiang basin who has great hydrocarbon generating capacity, and the latter is a secondary source rock who has a large hydrocarbon generating capacity. There are three reservoirs in Songjiang basin, including the first Member of Dalazi Formation, the first and the second Member of Changcai Formation sandstone reservoir. And the former is the main reservoir, which are made up of fan delta sub phase underwater channel sand body and littoral shallow lake Sand body. There are Secondary intergranular solution pore,Secondary particle dissolution pore and the primary intergranular pore in the sand reservoir, which belongs to low-middle porosity and low-middle permeability reservoir. Meanwhile, the huge thickness’ s mud rock in the second Member of Dalazi Formation is favourable capping formation. Which are in the second Member of Dalazi Formation and the second Member of Changcai Formation. The main types of reservoir cap assemblages is the type with source rocks in the upper and reservoirs below. Songjiang basin has a good basic condition and great potential for hydrocarbon accumulation. And the southeast part of the Middle Depression is a favorable accumulation area for oil and gas.
