According to the status and prospects of seismic exploration technology in shenmu gas field development, to meet the urgent needs of the oil and gas exploration in changqing oil field, carried out intensive research on seismic data acquisition、processing and interpretation,especially various inversion method,expect to achieve ultimate goal- that is, reservoir prediction.After earnestly analyzing complex loess tableland processing present situation in this gas field, combining with the key technical problems existing in the actual production, the research plan was proposed. Through the idea of Integrated operation about data acquisition、processing and interpretation,do the research on the seismic data processing and interpretation in loess tableland area, and developed a series of applicable methods of data processing and interpretation here eventually, and then get the wave impedance section which can intuitively reflect the variation of the formation lithology and thickness.The ultimate aim of seismic processing is reservoir prediction. Through comprehensive analyzing the geophysical characteristics of the shenmu gas field upper palaeozoic reservoir, and combining with previous experience in exploration we get the following understandings: the low-permeability lithologic gas reservoirs in eastern basin are multiple series of the strata, thin reservoirs. Reservoir prediction is very difficult due to the small thickness and changes quickly. But with the development of seismic technology, the prediction of lithology、physical properties、gas-bearing characteristics in the low-permeability reservoir has a breakthrough. We can predict gas-bearing characteristics in the reservoir by seismic attribute analyzing, absorption and attenuation, AVO analyzing and pre-stack inversion.The Shenmu gas field’s success shows that: for multiple series of the strata, small thickness, low-permeability gas reservoirs, we can predict lithology、physical properties、gas-bearing characteristics in thin reservoirs precisely on the basis of the geological research and make full use of the seismic and logging data. Practice proved that the reservoir prediction need correct geological analysis, the sedimentary facies analysis and comprehensive interpretation of logging data integrated into all aspects of reservoir prediction being, so that the success rate can be improved, truly achieve more with less purpose.
