With the rapid development of science and technology, the increase of world demand for crude oil, and the ever-increasing of proportion of minable low permeability reservoirs, both domestic and overseas attach more and more importance to oilfield geology comprehensive studies of exploration and development of low-permeability oilfield. Moreover, with the development of modern sedimentology and the improvement of reservoir evaluation, analysis techniques and reservoir evaluation techniques, currently, the detailed study of sedimentary facies, analysis capabilities of sand body distribution rules, the quantitative description of occurrence regularity and fluid characteristics of sandstone reservoir space has been greatly improved.In this paper, using sedimentology and petroleum geology theory, combining with results of previous studies, and making full use of well logging data, we systemly divide and contrast the wildcat wells and appraisal wells in study area, draw up the structural map of top layer of stratigraphic top and sand infiltration of main intervals; Using core description data and well logging data to establish the corresponding logging phase, and as a basis for the preparation of well facies and plane phase diagram, analyze and summarize the distribution rule of flat sand body; analyze the microscopic features of reservoir through standard sheet, casting sheet, SEM and physical properties testing data; analyze the reservoir characteristics combining microscopic features and macroscopic distribution rule of reservoir; do research on fluid characteristics and recognition using logging data, and then taking use of testing oil and production performance data, integrating sand body structural characteristics and reservoir characteristics, analyze the rules of hydrocarbon accumulation, predict the favorable target areas,and carry on reserves estimates.Through analysis of production performance of oil wells in zhongshanjian area, and evaluation of oil reservoir characteristics and development effect of this area, we think that it has a great tapping potential in this area, because of its low recovery percent and low reservoir utilization level. In addition, the initial yield in this area is high, and diminishing fastly, therefore, we should accelerate the waterflood development, complement formation energy, enhanced recovery ratio, in order to get more oil.
