The influence of coal mining on groundwater is a dynamic and constantly changing process. It is easy to cause some kind of phenomenons such as mining damage, drainage and aquifer unwatering. It destroyed the original runoff balance and changed the groundwater circulation relationship, making the groundwater system become increasingly complex. Coal mining not only affect the groundwater water quantity, water temperature, it also pollute the groundwater quality. So research of groundwater dynamic change under the condition of the mining is urgently needed, it will be beneficial to mine safety production and the rational use of groundwater resources.A case study of Xieqiao mine, based on the analysis of regional geology and hydrogeological data, used conventional analysis, principal component and classification methods, GIS spatial interpolation to analyze the space-time distribution and variation characteristics in study area. It adopted tools such as Surfer and Origin from space-time to ascertain the dynamic change of groundwater level, and combine with the analysis of groundwater temperature changes in aquifers. Comprehensive analyze the hydrogeology conditions in the study area, then established a GMS numerical model for groundwater flow, and conducted dynamic simulation for the future of the area groundwater. The results showed that the impact of coal mining on the groundwater mainly in coal-bearing and limestone aquifer. The lower coal-bearing groundwater has hydraulic connection with limestone groundwater, the quality and temperature of coal-bearing groundwater is easily affected by the mixture of limestone groundwater, and limestone water were supplied from bottom to top because of collapse column and mining influence. From 2011 to 2015, the water level of middle Cenozoic aquifer changed a little and general decline, with the lowest in 2013. It appeared obvious large scale of descent funnel between the east and west shafts of mine area, and groundwater flowed from south to north. Numerical simulation results showed that range and depth of groundwater depression cone slightly expanded, and it will continue to exist for a long time.
