The Block B is in the east eage of Precaspian Basin, after several years exploration, it’s fully covered by 3D seismic surveys, and the Teluwa oilfield was found by studying with the normal seismic data. And the structure-lithologic reservoirs exploration at the west slope of Teluwa structure had got breakthough, to better carry out the reservoir evaluation and improve the exploration success rate at the west slope of Teluwa structure, the wide azimuth, wide band and high density(high accuracy) 3d seismic data were acquired at this area. This research is base on the high accuracy 3d seismic data, and the target layer isг2 oil layer of KT2. Firstly, by using the high accuracy imaging seismic data to execute the fine structure interpretation, using the high density velocity spectrum to build velocity field to complete the time-depth conversion, and figured out the structural feature of the top boundary of г2 oil layer of KT2, which is a great wide and gentle nose-like structure, the southeast area is highest, and the northwest is lowets; secondarily, using the low frequency information to conduct seismic inversion to make clear the reservoir distribution feature, the inversion results shows that the reservoir of г2 oil layer developed in the north-east strike belt in the middle of the study area; using the different azimuth seismic data to detect the fracture, and found out the fracture distribution of the top boundary of г2 oil layer is mainly in around the salt dome; using the low frequency information to indicate the hydrocarbon distribution, the favorable oil bearing areas were found, which lie in the east of the study area in three north-east strike belt; finally, through comprehensive analyzing, 8 explorational wells were proposed.
