In order to meet the growing engineering needs,efficient electromagnetic scattering analysis method has been get more and more research and attention,a variety of efficient computing methods were invented.But the engineering society also put forward higher and higher requirements.In this paper,facing on the difficulty of engineering practice and based on the integral equation,a series of efficient methods for wideband and wideangle electromagnetic scattering analysis are studied.A case of some numerical examples are given to show the accuracy and efficiency: including inverse synthetic aperture rader imaging,time domain waveform simulation.In this paper,we first introduce the constructionof the phase extracted basis function,and prove that the induced current of the metal surface has the traveling wave component,and the phase extracted is taken as the phase extraction basis function.The physical properties of the phase extraction function are introduced.And the results of using the phase extraction basis function for wide-band electromagnetic simulation are extended to wideangle electromagnetic simulation.A computer program which can interpolate the current coefficient in angle domain and frequency domain is prepoesed.Then the program has used to compute the scattering of the electrically large target,including the low detectable target and aircraft,compared with the traditional method,the calculation efficiency has been greatly improved.Using this method to calculate the echo data of an aircraft in the microwave band,and then use these data for imaging,imaging results can reasonably reflect the target strong scattering point.The application of principal component analysis method in wide angle calculation is studied.Compared with the traditional adaptive crossover approximation method,proposed method has more accuracy,speed and efficiency.This paper proposed the interpolation decomposition technique,programming numerical calculation program,and then uses the code to take fast wideband and wideangle simulation.The numerical examples show that the method is fast and accurate,and it can calculate wideangle and wideband simulation together.Then based on fast fourier transform to compute time domain signal of aircraft.Finally,the methods are summarized and reviewed..
