The B block located in Central African has complex structure with small faults developed. The main target layer belongs to sandstone thin interbedding area which means thin sandstone reservoir、rapidly lateral change、relatively strong heterogeneity and poor connectivity. Thus the key point of favorable target optimization is how to accurate characterization the reservoir distribution, it also have great significance to the petroleum exploration and development in this areas.This paper is based on the 3D seismic interpretation data in the study areas, through the analysis of strata sedimentation with horizon accurate calibration and layers frame construction. It also uses various techniques such as seismic section interpretation, coherence cube interpretation and variable velocity mapping and so on. In this way we completed the 3D seismic data structure interpretation and provide reliable basic data for further reservoir prediction and favorable target optimization.According to the reservoir prediction is difficult in the main target area in B block, we researched the reservoir development and distribution, reservoir sedimentary facies, Pool-forming pattern of the study area. Firstly, this paper classified the reservoir sedimentary facies, the sedimentary environment of K formation is dominated by fan delta-lacustrine, M formation is dominated by near shore subaqueous fan. The reservoir facie belts have a certain control effect on hydrocarbon enrichment. Secondly, completing Reservoir parameter prediction by using attribute analysis and reservoir parameters Inversion analysis technology, what’s more when using the attribute analysis technology, the principle of seismic attribute optimization and the transformation of reservoir parameters are analyzed emphatically. On the other hand the sensitivity of reservoir parameters is analyzed emphatically when use the reservoir parameters inversion analysis technology, to finding the most close to the true law between reservoir parameters. Finely, through the comprehensive study on the controlling factors of oil and gas accumulation, analyzed the hydrocarbon source and its storage conditions and the model of hydrocarbon accumulation was established. Application of favorable target evaluation criteria from the trap conditions, reservoir conditions, oil source conditions, preservation conditions, the data of the 5 aspects to evaluate the risk of trap, comprehensive optimization the favorable target.
