Research On Constructing The Metadatabase Orienting To Land Change Investigation And Remote Sensing Monitoring Operation

Land changing investigation and remote sensing monitoring operation is important and fundamental works for Land management information construction. It involves enormous land information data which is not only has complex sources and various formats, but also the space, the time and the attribute information of the data changes frequently. Moreover, high cost of data acquisition and low efficiency of data process, which frustrates the work quality and efficiency of the land office. Therefore, it is a crucial problem for land offices at all levels to figure out how to utilize and administrate the data. In recent years, as the development of network information technology, spatial information technology has been promoted. Meta-data technology accordingly has developed rapidly. Metadata is the description of the information resources and the main method of realizing the efficient management of massive data. Use metadata technology to establish the metadata database of land change survey and remote sensing monitoring business management to the data of land use, there is no unified, integrated system. According to the features of land data, the article aims to study the design and realization of metadata base referring to land changing investigation and remote monitoring operation with the theory and method of metadata. The main content are as following.(1) The relevance study of metadata. The vector and the grid about the metadata standards has are set up through analyzing the work content and the data characters of land changing investigation and remote monitoring operation.(2) The design of metadata base. With the application of database basic theory, the global level metadata base, underlying metadata base and system functions in the metadata base catering to land changing investigation and remote monitoring operation are particularly designed.(3) The realization of metadata base. Based on the development platform of Visual Studio 2010, exploit metadata base management system to realize the functions of enter, search and update of metadata by using ArcEngine10.1 and referring to SQL Server database. C# is used as programming language in the process, using XML technology to store metadata, in order to implement metadata storage, query and update functions.Land changing investigation and remote monitoring operation metadata base management system is the important part of land data system. Its main function is to store and administrate the metadata collected. The completion of the system will help to manage the metadata efficiently and update new metadata accurately and swiftly.
