In the 21 st Century, humanity has entered the age of network, both of the work and life are made of large or small networks, the research of complex network has become more and more important. In recent years, the research on complex networks has attracted more and more attention from various fields, such as, physics, mathematics, biology, computer science, economics and so on. The transmission dynamics of complex networks and the synchronization control of complex networks are two focuses of this study. The spread of computer virus is another important issue, the scale of computer network is becoming more and more large, how to effectively control the spread of virus on computer network is also needed to be studied. In this thesis, we mainly studied the problem of virus transmission on computer networks, and the synchronization of complex networks. The details are as follows:First of all, the basic theory of complex networks is briefly described, and the topology and statistical characteristics of regular network, random network and some classical network models are introduced.Secondly, there are some simple introduction transmission dynamics of complex networks, some classical propagation models of complex network are introduced, anSpecially, for the email virus propagation model, some analyses of security attack and defense for the modern computer network are presented. The following three chapters are about the synchronization of hyperchaotic system and complex networks. The synchronization of a hyperchaotic system coming from the Chua’s circuit; the finite-time synchronization of complex networks with disturbance and the synchronization of networks with delayed coupling are respectively introduced. Finally, some Conclusions and Prospects are given.
