In recent years, the meteorological disasters have occurred many times in our country, for example, 7.12 Beijing Rainstorm,Heavy Debris Flow in Zhouqu 2010 and so on. To avoid this kind of tragedy coming again, improving the level of meteorological forecast will be played a crucial role. In the field of military application,meteorological data after accurate collection whether fit for the military condition will direct impact the rocket’s or missile’s military missions, which need finished by the established plan. Our country input to the meteorological equipment be further increase in recent years,the demand of accuracy and comprehensiveness for all kinds of data has been improved, which collected by meteorological equipment. For this reason, in this paper, a new automatic meteorological information acquisition system is designed.Main contents and results of this study are as follows:1. Cable transmission rate and distance of transducer data signal is key to realization of long-distance unattended guard of this system. Therefore, in this article,fiber optical communication technology is applied in meteorological Information System, the traditional 485 transmission mode is replaced, the cable transmission distance of system is added and the anti-jamming capability is also strengthened. One data output position is reserved at data output place of Collector for the connection of integrated machine for data emission or receiving of Beidou Satellite in order to realize signal transmission in a variety of ways.2.Through improving data output protocol and mode of various sensors and resetting COM port of system data collector, connection or removing of sensors are free from limitation of position.3. Power is supplied through combination of solar cell, maintenance free lead-acid battery and wind driven generator. Avoid additional power supply for outdoor data acquisition through calculation to achieve self-supply and provide for setting up work in remote area without power supply.4. Improved the numerical calculation of temperature and humidity,selected the new kinds sensor of air pressure,wind direction and wind speed,which can effectively improve the accuracy and precision of the system.5. According to the GJB 6556.6-2008’s environment experimental terms,system get the service condition of all-weather.The system has already been designed and accepted by the army,and be a prototype of the new generation of meteorological equipment.It has been used in the air force XX division XX airport and other places.
