In recent years,the manufacture process of fiber laser has been relatively mature.The fiber laser has also been applied in the fields of anti-terrorism rescue and military defense because of its compact structure,strong reliability and high-quality optical beam.But in the field of antiterrorism rescue and military defense,the fiber laser is most likely to be used under a harsh environment,that is,there is no stable large-scale power grid to supply power for it,only microgrid supply is available which can not meet the demand of power supply for fiber laser,resulting in low efficiency.Hereby,in this paper,it designs the power supply system of the high-energy fiber laser and implements the design according to the demand of power supply of fiber laser in the application background of wilderness.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,through analyzing the structure of the pump source and its working characteristics,the power demand of the fiber laser is determined;based on the mathematical modeling of the traditional diesel generator set,it analyzed the dynamic response characteristics of the diesel generator set when the fiber laser is added to the system.It is proved that when the fiber laser is added to the system,the speed of diesel generator set decreases significantly and the fluctuation of the output voltage can be observed.Secondly,this paper designed an overall structure for high energy fiber laser power supply system.in addition,it designed a power compensation subsystem to compensate the output power of diesel generator;To reduce influence of output voltage fluctuation of diesel generator on power supply of fiber laser.Then,it designed overall system for the hardware and software of the laser power supply and implemented it,and an experimental platform is also built to test it and prove its feasibility.Finally,the power compensation device is designed for the power compensation subsystem,and created the overall system simulation model in Simulink.Experiments proved that the overall system can also meet the requirements of fast operation of the fiber laser with stable output power.
