Research On The Performance Of Audio And Video Transmission Based On UDP In The Context Of Complex Networks

The network has become more and more complex. In this case, how to guarantee the capability of the data transmission in the complex network environment.For the network technology and application technology,to ensure the normal operation of the application has become an important issue.The topics start the research in UDP data transmission performance assurance method in complex network environment.First of all, the research background,significance and the domestic and foreign research status are described. Secondly, the related technologies used in the project are introduced, including video codec technology, audio and video coding and decoding technology, OpenMP technology, SDL technology, linear regression and VPN Technology.Thirdly,Measuring the transmission delay and jitter, link throughput, packet loss rate and other parameters in complex network environment.Then finding the correlation of the transmission delay, jitter,link throughput and UDP packet length.According to the algorithm putting forward the the way to guarantee audio and video transmission performance of the algorithm.An audio and video chat system has been designed and implemented in the complex network environment.Then the algorithm that audio and video transmission performance guarantee has been applied.Finally, the performance of the algorithm were measured including the measurement of delay, the measurement of symbol error rate, the measurement of time delay jitter and the measurement of the throughput of the link to correct if the algorithm is verified.
