Gravel rock development is given priority in Dongying sag east steep slope belt, exploration potential is tremendous. Gravel rock lithology changes rapidly and reservoir-forming regularity is complex, conventional seismic interpretation technology is difficult to describe them effectively. The study is from the geological and geophysical response characteristics of gravel rock, established seismic prediction method of geometric features of gravel development zones, the dividing method of development time based on the higher-order time-frequency analysis of gravel rock, the inversion method of multiple attribute modeling and the analysis prediction method of oil and gas. Realize the effective reservoir prediction of the gravel rock plane, provides a favorable evidence for selecting exploration targets.Gravel rock in Yanjia area is the nearshore subaqueous fan sedimentary rock and each facies migrate towards raised areas gradually, formed up thinning of the vertical sequence from bottom to top. Time-frequency analysis based on higher order spectrum technology can improve the accuracy of fan division, Upper Es4 four medium-term cycle are further divided into eight short cycle, eight sand groups are oil-bearing. Ancient topography recovery technology, ancient channel analysis and fan body envelope analysis technology can predict the macroscopic distribution well of fan body development, impedance inversion technology based on attribute model and 3 d visualization interpretation technology of seed point engraving forecast favorable zones for the fan body and sand body distribution rule, multiple attribute parameters fitting method realize the plane prediction of effective reservoir thickness. At the same time, the forward modeling show that there is a close relationship between the seismic reflection characteristics of gravel rock and its lithology, physical property and fluid changes. Comprehensive analysis of the amplitude, energy and frequency attribute can contribute to effective reservoir identification;When fluid properties change, oil does not cause the larger changes of amplitude reflection, gas characterized by the amplitude decreases slightly, with obvious polarity reversal of AVO anomalies. This study with gravel rock in Dongying sag east steep slope belt run through the exploration process, the results guide exploration deployment in the area, achieved considerable economic benefits.
