With the domestic commercial aircraft project approved, the preparation of its accessories materials are in full swing. Currently, the system research and development of the interior textile with functional which applied in aircraft or railway transportation is almost blank, products are mainly imported. In this regard, this paper attempts to break the monopoly, the nonwoven material would be made use of needle-punched process with high-performance fibers, thus broadening the application areas of domestic high-performance fibers as well as improving the localization rate of parts of our aircraft project.Several aspects of this study on aircraft noise reduction material by needle-punched have been done on the base of carrying out technical surveys, literature search and international exchanges.Firstly, analyzing the performance of aramid fibers which made in China, obtain the feasibility of import substitution.Secondly, preparation the nonwoven for noise reducing with needle-punched, including the choice of sting, the technological parameter such as needling density and so on.Thirdly, finishing samples with water and oil repellent. Single factor, orthogonal and range & variance analyzing method were used to analyze the influence of the concentration of finishing agent, curing temperature and curing time during the finishing process.Further research is about compounding the nonwoven materials with polymer elastomer, including the choice of polymer elastomer and the change of noise reduction after compounding.Last, testing the properties of samples, including the basic structure, absorption coefficient, sound insulation, flame retardance and other performance tests as well as analyzing.Through the study, we can draw the following conclusions about the subjects:1) Compared the mechanical properties and the limit oxygen index between domestic and abroad PMIA fiber, it is feasible to substitute the Nomex with domestic fiber;2) Using a fluorochmeical finishing agent, the result showed that the water-repellency up to level 6 and the oil-repellency up to level 5 after finishing process;3) The test of heat preservation performance showed that the rate of heat preservation were above 80%, and thus implied a certain heat preservation effect;4) The test of 12s vertical flame showed that results could achieve the requirements of FAA, but tests of the density of smoke emission and smoke toxicity should be further research;5) Experiment results proved that needle nonwovens bonding with rubber damping materials had remarkable noise reduce performance.The research of this paper has important significance on developing and industrializing of interior textile with functional which applied in aircraft.
