With the social development and progress of science and technology, people’s awareness of pursuing fashion and environmental protection strengthens increasingly, it requires the textile products to be green, diversified and functional. The development of new regenerated cellulose fibers (such as:Modal. Tencel. Bamboo. Pearl fiber) timely meets people’s needs, alleviates current problems of the lack of world’s resources and the destructions of the natural environments. However, with the development of regenerated cellulose fibers and their related blended products, it becomes more and more difficult to identify them accurately, the fake and shoddy products continue to emerge on the textile market. So it is quite necessary to establish a practical test and identification system to solve the above problems. The thesis summarizes current development of new regenerated cellulose fibers, as well as the applications and identification methods of traditional cellulose fibers, analyzes some new-highly technologies in anti-counterfeiting field and the applications of latest fiber identification technologies, then puts forward a new idea to use element marker as regenerated cellulose fibers’qualitative and quantitative identification. According to early application researches of adding element marker to pearl fiber, it shows that rare elements can be used and added in the preparation process as a marker, which can be spinned and detected in pearl fiber. It proves the feasibility of using rare elements to identify pearl fibers. Then the thesis determines the choosing criteria of the element markers according to the security of textile fibers, screens element markers in accordance with the requirements of the preparation process of pearl fiber. Then we do experiments on pearl fiber, considering from the coupling capacity of the chelating agents, the surface activities and concentrations of the dispersants, with the processing equipments; after these, we prepare mixtures of element marker, which can be mixed evenly with the viscose spinning liquid and spinned successfully; adjust the mixtures and adding quantity of element marker to carry out a number of spinning tests. Base on the quality of pearl fiber and the actual production conditions, we utilize ICP-AES to test the spinned samples, and find the correspondence between the adding quantity and the reserving quantity of the element marker. The correspondence provides basis and reference for the pearl fibers’ qualitative and quantitative identifications in industrial applications. Finally the real application example proves that it is feasible to use the element marker to confirm the percents of the blends of regenerated cellulose fibers, also it can identify regenerated cellulose fibers quickly and easily. which offers great basis for the industrial applications of cellulose fibers. Meanwhile. we can use the uniqueness of the element marker to prevent the fake and shoddy products, protect the intellectual property, legitimate rights and interests, and promote the further development of the textile industry.
