In the developed petrochemical industry countries, There are two mature industrial production process.The one is using with piperylene and dicyclopentadiene separated from the C5 fraction as the monomer.The other is through mixing polymerization after early separation. With the rapid development of China’s ethylene industry, It’s necessary to develop its downstream fine chemical at the same time that bulk chemical industry is developed, It ensures the development of chemical industry in a virtuous circle.Otherwise there will be a waste of resources.Having regard to the enhancement of ethylene production capacity at the same time, C5 fraction as the ethylene by-product is also worthy of our concern for China’s chemical industry. The process that hydrogenation petroleum resin is produced by C5 fraction monomer is basically a blank in china. Although Lanzhou Petrochemical Company has produced C5 hydrogenation petroleum resin successfully,there is a long way for its technical standard compared with international standards.C5 hydrogenation petroleum resin technology, based on ethylene cracking C5 fraction as raw material, includes these processes,which are pretreatment、polymerization、washing、hydrogenation、refining and other processes.The product is high-grade light-colored C5 hydrogenation petroleum resin. In the raw materials pretreatment process, The C5 fraction after the removal of light components (C3 and C4 components) and weighty fractions (C6 and C6 components above), accesses to the next system. Because of the high active component of butadiene, isoprene, piperylene contained in the C5 component of raw materials,it’s easy to produce colloidal polymer in the Light-off tower during the distillation separation process for C5 raw materials. The colloidal polymer block up-valve of trays downcomer and the exchanger at the bottom of the tower,which cut off the running period of the light-off tower,as a result that it affects the running of the whole equipment.The operating temperature of the weight-off tower is higher, the self-polymery of the high active component is more serious.The self-polymer block the Tower bottom and its exchanger seriously,and it’s unnecessary to maintain the normal production of raw materials pretreatment unit,so it is necessary to decrease the operating temperature of the weight-off tower.At the temperature, The dicyclopentadiene in the raw materials cannot decompose into cyclopentadiene(one of the effective components to produce polymer),and it is cut off as by-product,which greatly reduces utilization of the effective components of raw materials.For the phenomenon that the active component of the raw materials self-polymery easily,it is studied that the using situation of the Inhibitor in the separate process of the C5 fraction. By analysis of the early separation process, the new composite inhibitor (inhibitor SZZJ and dispersant SZFS) are selected and a reasonable joined scheme is established. Through feasibility analysis,It determines the feasibility of the reagents and scheme. It is proved that adding new compound inhibitor in the process of separation of C5 fractions to solve the active component self-Polymerization of the raw materials is feasible.Light-off Tower pressure is to increase with time before the new composite inhibitor is used and the increasing rate is very fast.but the change of the light-off tower pressure is small after the new composite inhibitor is used.As a result,the running period of the tower became longer.After adding the new composite inhibitor,the loss rate of the active component(butadiene, isoprene, piperylene) in the raw materials decrease obviously, The loss rate of butadiene、isoprene and inter-pentadiene reduce separately from 2.83% to 0.78%、36.01% to 26.07%、35.96% to 27.26%.At the same time, the operating temperature of the T2 tower bottom is increased to 200-210℃, decomposition rate of dicyclopentadiene is higher, decomposition rate of dicyclopentadiene is increased from 21.57% to 90.84%,so the Utilization of the raw materials and the value-added products is increased.The profit is 2.89 million yuan from the repairing fee and long-time operation,and it provides technical data support for the large C5 project of Lanzhou Petrochemical.
