Coordination compounds can be synthesized by the function of bond of complexes andhydrogen. They have optical, electrical and magnetic properties that can apply on scientificresearch and manufacture. Chiral complexes have attracted a great deal of interest owing tothe good method of it can produce the chiral organic compound. Salen MOFs showing thesame applications on open channel such as hydrogen storage, drug delivery, chemical sensingand excellent catalysis.We have synthesized two chiral ligand of Schiff base: dicarboxylate ligand, dipydinieligand. We have gain two MOFs which have the open channel by cultivate the single crystalformed from ligands and transitionmetal. By the X-ray diffraction, we have determined thestructure of two single crystal accutately, at the same time the other characterizations havedone as well.We have synthesized two chiral ligand and one single crystal each of the ligand:(R,R)-(-)-N,N’-Bis(3-carboxyl-5-tert-butylsalicylidene)-1,1-cyclohexanediamine/(R,R)-(-)-N,N’-Bis(3-tert-butyl-5-(4’pyridyl)salicylidene)1,1-cyclohexanediamine. Two single crystalhave been determined by X-ray diffraction which synthesized by diffusion of ligands andtransitionmetal.We used the Cd3(PTA)3[MnL2(H2O)2](DMF)2}+n·(NO3-)n(H2O)2n(DMF)6n(2) polymerwhich have the MOFs as catalyst which catalysis the reaction of the benzylalcohol’soxidation, at the same time we explore the factors that affective such as temperature. Thefinal yield of product is determined by GC.
