The world pollution situation of water resources is intractable. Pollution of freshwater resources such as rivers in China is particularly serious. Huai River basin pollution is the most severity in all of rivers in China, we should governance ShaYing River pollution firstly, then to Huai River. JiaLu River with no live headwater, is the biggest tributary of ShaYing River. A great deal of municipal sewage discharge into it continuously and the water quality is belowâ…¤degree. Study microbial structure and diversity with various seasons, along with water treatment effect of ACF are to provide a basis for establishing treatment measures in municipal sewage biological pollution of JiaLu River.1) The discipline on microrganisms quantity and diversity with various seasons is studied. The results of microbial flora analysis of JiaLu River show that the water microorganisms in summer and autumn were higher than in winter and spring. Seasonal changes of microorganism quantities in water are consistent with in sediment, but total microbes in sediment is more than in water, up to 1010. Single bacteria number of downstream is almost higher than the upstream both in water and sediment. PCR-DGGE analysis shows that most of dominant population is uncultured bacterium. Bacteroidetes is dominant population in many activated sludge system, play an important role in sewage purification process. Moreover some Arcobacter sp. in sewage are pathogenic, this kind of bacteria can cause human enteritis and animal abortion, menacing the health of human beings and animals. It indicts that organic and biological pollution of JiaLu River is already serious badly. Analyze the characteristic of microbial structure with various seasons have the following two causes: firstly, it is affected by water temperature, in a higher temperature, microorganisms multiplied fast; Secondly, wastewater and waste discharged into JiaLu River increased in summer and autumn, that deteriorated water quality, indigenous microorganisms take advantage of new organic compound to reproduce accelerated; Thirdly, saprophytic microorganisms discharged into the river with all kinds of waste also resulted in microorganisms number increasing.2) The water treatment effect of ACF is studied. The pictures of ACF incubation show that it could adsorb and intercept ordure fast, improve transparency of the water. Research on different treatment sets tells that ammonia nitrogen removal efficiency by function microbe is effective. Loaded with microbe groups, ACF remove ammonia nitrogen ideal, removal efficiency reaches 98%. Change of function flora quantity on ACF indicates that regenerate ACF timely will lead to better effects. Sewage purification mechanism of ACF is that it is a good supporter material for microbes, and adsorbs ordure, microbes take advantage of the ordure to reproduce accelerated, thereby decompose organic compound to refresh the water.
