With the rapid development of the economy in our country,waterproofingmaterials has been widely used in the waterproofing engineering in the areas ofbuildings, tunnels, bridges and transportation. Waterproofing lap seam weldingquality has important influence on the waterproof construction quality, but at presentthere is not any equipment to automatically test the waterproofing lap seam weldingquality online, nondestructive. However, ultrasound as one of the main technologiesof modern nondestructive testing has the advantages of non destructive,comprehensiveness, and high reliability, and is widely used in different industrialdetection. Therefore, this paper explores a method based on ultrasonic ofwaterproofing materials lap seam welding quality testing and the instrument isdeveloped, which implemented to automatic testing the waterproofing lap seamwelding quality online, nondestructive, and has important theoretical and engineeringsignificance.The dissertation mainly includes:(1) Based on the analysis of developing situation of ultrasonic nondestructivetesting technology in all areas and the problems on waterproofing lap seam weldingdetection, we use A ultrasound and B ultrasound to detection test the waterproofinglap seam welding. By comparing and analyzing the testing results and test data, thewaterproofing materials lap weld quality detection method based on B ultrasonic isdetermined.(2) According to the construction requirements of waterproofing materials lapseam, we designed a portable waterproof material testing instrument. Hardwarefoundation of this instrument is a laptop PC, B ultrasonic flaw detection interface cardand high speed data acquisition card. Through many tests we determined the Bultrasound testing parameters and the probe parameters.(3) We use c++to design the testing instrument software. According to thecollected waterproof material lap seam signal, we establish the image model. Throughimage processing and calculation, the quality parameters of waterproofing materialslap seam can be concluded.The research results of this paper provides a new testing method and engineeringequipment to solve problem on the ultrasonic nondestructive testing technology inwaterproof materials on the application of lap seam welding quality inspection.
