To study the mechanism of the mass transfer during the drop formation, I have refered to the algorithm within the Gerris Flow Solver CFD libraries and also sort out a modular to computate the Coflowing liquid-liquid drop formation process and analyze differences between dripping and jetting. Relations of droplet diameter with continuous flow velocity, ratio of viscosity between continuous and discrete phase and Weber number of discrete phase are also obtained. I found out that there exists a sudden change from dripping to jetting in the mechanism. By redefining the trace transport equation on local intrinsic coordinate, the concentration transport process can be separated by communicating through boundary between different parts.
