With the development of the society, the scale of the enterprise productionbecomes much larger, and the production processes have a tougher standard onsomefactors, such as continuous, automatic. Any part of the production processeschange, ora certain step did not finish, would tend to affect the effective operation of the wholeproduction system, and main factor to answer this case is lack of apowerful productionscheduling. Therefore, to meet this requirement, strengthening the research ofproduction scheduling and trying to build a scheduling system is becoming one of thehot research topics in both corporate and academia.At present, the domestic enterprise, which produce gypsum block, generally usesscrew conveyor for powder distribution, but the screw conveyor has only one channel,that is to say, one channel connect one powder source to several production linewhoneed powder, thus the powder means a resource shared by all the production line.In this paper, with consideration of the fact that the gypsum block productionenterprises generally lack a production scheduling system, we build a powderdispatching algorithm base on model predictive control (MPC) according to therequirements of real time scheduling for the powder distribution problem, which canself-tuning the dispatching sequence between multiple gypsum block production lines.This will promise the effective utilization of resources no matter what change theproduction cycle have made bythe variety of the number of production lines, thediversity of block shape, the difference powder transportation speed and the changehappened in control data from the machine etc. then the production amount will gain.Through the simulation on Matlab, this method was verified.In this paper, the main research achievement is as follows:①According to the technological characteristics of the gypsum block productionline based on the reciprocating motion, we build a reasonable description to the powderdistribution problem, and find out multiple goals of powder distribution, and get theminto a single indicator, and also establish a model between powder dispatching orderand the new indicator, and finally propose the general rules that the powderdispatching should obey.②With real time scheduling requirements for powder distribution problem, thispaper use the principle and characteristics of model predictive control to build an architecture of the powder dispatching algorithm, and creatively come up with the ideaabout powder dispatching dynamicscheduling based on MPC strategy.
