Chongqing Residential Environment And Residents Respiratory Disease Investigation

Since april,2013a cross-sectional study “House Environmental Factors and ItsAssociation with residents’ health”was carried out in Chongqing. This article mainlyanalyzes the influence on chongqing residents respiratory diseases. This survey isdivided into two stages, The first stage is a cross-sectional study, we investigated twoprimary schools in chongqing through the questionnaire, a total of1348homes ofresidential environment and residents living habits were investigated, the questionnaireresponse rate is79%.By statistics of questionnaire in the residents’ health, we found that pupils’respiratory disease incidence is about30%, respiratory diseases of adult men andwomen is about15%, and the incidence of respiratory diseases of old people is about8%, respiratory diseases is one of the biggest influence on children. Type ofcardiovascular diseases and rheumatoid disease is appear more and more high incidenceas the growth of the age, for cardiovascular disease, the incidence of primary schoolstudents were0.3%, adult male and female adult was2.1%and2.2%; Incidence forrheumatoid disease, primary school students was1.2%, adult men and women were3.1%and4.5%respectively.This paper analyzes the indoor environment and behavior factors that influenceprimary school children, male, female adult respiratory diseases. After single factor andmultiple factors logistic regression analysis, we concluded that the factors of childrenrespiratory diseases is there are contaminated water around building, there is noise inthe street, open the window when the air is improved, the bedroom exposure to the sun,a toilet smell, visual environment are in good condition, a total of six kinds of factors;the factors of adult male respiratory diseases is that residential distance is less than200meters, there are dump around building, different levels of kitchen lampblack, use acomputer time is more than six hours a day, there is a peculiar smell, a toilet smell,visual environment is good, a total of eight kinds of factors; And female adultrespiratory diseases is Open the window a long time, kitchen lampblack, indoorsmoking status, indoor air quality and acoustic environment is good, a total of five kindsof factors.In the second stage of the research, we found the concentration of formaldehyde isout of standard in Chongqing. For the buildings which have been decorated for1year, its rates beyond standard rates reaches65.0%, and for the buildings which have beendecorated for2year, its rates beyond standard rates reaches23.6%.For Residentialformaldehyde pollution concentration in each room, the bedroom is the most serious,the sitting room is better.
