Currently, the total reserves of oil, coal and natural gas used in industrialproduction is dwindling. Fuel storage capacity in China is huge, but the price ofChina’s fuel increases with the world fuel prices simultaneously. The profits of manyproduction enterprises relying on these fuels are also continuing to decrease. As aresult, people is not only developing new energy, but also studying how to improvethe existing energy utilization. In chemical and other fields, oxygen enrichmenttechnology can improve effectively the existing energy utilization.Pressure swing adsorption(PSA) oxygen producing technology as an effectivemeans of making up low-cost oxygen-enriched, its application gets more and moreattention. Researching PSA oxygen generating can not only expand oxygen-enrichedsources but also reduce the energy consumption of oxygen producing, which has avery important significance. Research content of this thesis was divided into fourparts.The first part mainly summarized the existing oxygen production methods andemphatically elaborates PSA oxygen generation technology. At the same time, it alsointroduces the development status about PSA oxygen producing adsorbent.The second part designed to establish a set of two-tower vacuum pressure swingadsorption(VPSA) oxygen generating experimental device, and it established anexperimental analysis method and measured the oxygen, nitrogen relative volumecorrection factor.The third part in this thesis performed oxygen generation experiments researchfor the relevant process parameters by the established experimental apparatusn. Itdetermines the critical process parameters which affect the oxygen purity and yield ofthe vacuum pressure swing adsorption oxygen production. And it carried on thepreliminary experimental exploration about the thermal effect of VPSA oxygengeneration adsorbent.The fourth part of this thesis based on the experimental data of the third part andaccording to the relevant design information designed initially a set of two-tower vacuum pressure swing adsorption oxygen production industrial device. Thetechnological process was described and the basic parameters of equipment weregived. In the end, it maked the process flow diagram of VPSA oxygen producing.
