With the constant progress of the material science, the lightweight products become thepeople’s favor, the aluminum products instead of the steel are accompanied. Because of thephysical properties of the aluminum alloy, improving the machining surface accuracy hasbeen a problem. The paper mainly describes the analysis for aluminum finishing methods.The grinding of the aluminum alloy is easy to make the wheel block, and the processing willbe stopped. Surface precision of parts has be improved with the ultrasonic turning processing,the cutting process texture can’t be eliminated, so the compactness and the precision retainingability of the parts are lower, and wear resistance and corrosion resistance of parts will beweakened. Facing these problems of aluminum alloy precision machining, the ultrasonicvibration rolling processing technology has been widely used with its advantages in thesmooth surface, the preset residual compressive stress and so on, and the device can bemounted on the machine tool, reducing the installation time and the cost of the company tobuy special tools, having a great significance to improve efficiency of enterprises.The subject comes from Jiangxi province science and technology support program of―Development of ultrasonic nanometer electromechanical system precision rolling tool‖.Through review of the related literature, the ultrasonic vibration rolling has advantages inimproving the surface finish of parts, surface hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance.In this paper, the mechanical device of the ultrasonic nanometer precision rolling device forthe outer surface of aluminum alloy is designed and researched, including the research on thetransducer design, the horn theory design, the selection of roller and the connection modebetween rolling head and horn; using the finite element analysis software to get the naturalfrequency and vibration mode for the transducer and the horn; and obtain harmonic responseanalysis and harmonic response analysis curve of the connector between transducer and horn;at last, contact analysis is studies between the rolling head and the aluminum alloy work-piece.Through simulation analysis, ultrasonic nanometer precision rolling process can be easier toachieve the effect of light and strengthen the entire surface of the part.The main research content of the article is as follows:(1) Widely consult literature at home and abroad about the rolling finishing, theultrasonic turning processing, the ultrasonic rolling processing etc.(2) Study the mechanism of ultrasonic rolling processing and analyze the rollingprocessing track certain radial velocity model for the outer surface of aluminum alloy. (3) Based on the available references, get the theoretical design of the mechanical deviceof the ultrasonic nanometer precision rolling device, have accent on the design of thetransducer, the horn and the rolling head.(4) The finite element analysis is studied on the designed mechanical device, mainly onthe analysis of the natural frequency and vibration mode of the transducer, the horn and therolling device system,the harmonic response analysis of the connector between the transducerand the horn and the contact analysis between the rolling head and the aluminum alloywork-piece.
