The oily sludge is produced as a by-product of crude oil processing, transportation and refining process, it is difficult to use ordinary methods to separate. In view of the fact that there is a certain amount of oil and oil-water is difficult to separate from the oily sludge, so the paper gives up the traditional separation method. The oily sludge was emulsified by adding water and emulsifier, and the performance of sludge emulsion as the flotation collector was studied; finally, the preparation of oily sludge as a binder for briquette was researched.In this paper, we studied the preparation conditions of oily sludge emulsion. The effect of emulsifying liquid stability, emulsification speed and emulsifying time on emulsion particle size was discussed, and dispersion of the oily sludge emulsion in the experiment was slso studied. The results showed the best preparation conditions of oily sludge emulsion emulsifying temperature was30℃, m (oil):m(water)=3:7, m(AdditivesB):m (AdditivesC)=1:10, stirring speed was19000r/min, emulsifying time was4min, the amount of the emulsifier was0.5%; The particle size distribution of oily sludge emulsion was uniformity and emulsion particle size becomes small with the decreasing of emulsification time and stirring speed, and the oily sludge emulsion is well stability and easy to disperse in water.We studied the performance of emulsified oily sludge as coal slurry flotation collector, and the performance of emulsified oily sludge, kerosene and oily sludge as coal slurry flotation collector was compared. The effect of different particle size and additive amount of emulsified oily sludge on coal slime flotation was also studied and also explores the influence of temperature on the oily sludge emulsion flotation properties. The experiment results showed that Emulsified oily sludge had the same flotation result with kerosene as collector, and its collecting ability was stronger than oily sludge. The narrower the particle size of emulsion of oily sludge, the stronger the collecting ability. With the increase of dosage of emulsified oily sludge, the cleaned coal yield increased, but the ash content also increases slightly. The slurry temperature is low, the oily sludge emulsified collector ability is weak. Emulsified oily sludge provided a new direction for coal flotation technology. We studied the briquette preparition conditions with oily sludge, coal and clay, The effect of different oily sludge proportion, drying time, drying temperature and moulding pressure on the compressive strength of coal and the performance index of briquette. Experimental results showed that the briquette forming pressure, drying time, drying temperature and oily sludge proportion had a significant impact on the compressive strength of moulded coal. The best preparation conditions of briquette:briquetting pressure was80-120MPa, time of drying was2-3h,oily sludge added no more than25%.
