Coalbed gas is a kind of clean energy.The storage capacity of coalbed gas resources inChina ranked third in the world. Currently, Coalbed gas is the most realistic alternativeresources of natural gas.At the same time,on the regional distribution and buried depthcoalbed gas in China are advantageous to planning development. The natural gaspipelines,such as The ‘West-East natural gas transmission project”,the ‘Shaanxi-Beijing firstline and second line’, are all through coalbed gas rich region.That provides a favorableconditions for the development and delivery of coalbed gas.By the end of2005,the nationalconstruction ground contains607coalbed gas wells. Now,7coalbed gas test well group and ademonstration project are completed.In recent years,China has made gratifying achievementsin coalbed gas cooperation.But with the increase and acceleration of coalbed gasexploration,we need to pay attention to the problems in pipeline management.Because thereare some defects in the2D network,it is imminent to develop the3D visualization of pipelinenetwork management system.This paper focuses on the study of gas pipeline network detection work. We detectedHancheng mining pipeline network precisely,and updated network data.According to the userrequirements of3D visualization, to select the3D visualization platform.The construction ofthe visual scene technology are also discussed in this paper.This paper choose Skyline3Dgeographic information system software and3Ds Max3D modeling software to modeling theunderground pipeline network,ancillary facilities and realize the visualization of the surface ofthe3D scene.In addition,the3D network automatic generation method was tested anddiscussed.This system based on the demand analysis of users,in the process of implementationto design3D visualization system function module of the coalbed gas pipeline network.Byusing the Geodatabase space database management and ArcSDE spatial data engine to call2Dand3D data, to realize the2D-3D linkage design,and to make the2D electronic map systemand the3D scene to be able to respond to each other. Finally in the.Net environment using c# object-oriented programming technology,based on the principles of system development stepsand coalbed gas pipeline network3D visualization system for the development,browsingcontrol of the view area,network statistics and the analysis of the pipeline such as thedevelopment of function module have been achieved.In this paper, this system integrates pipeline management,provides users with2D and3Dinteractive experiences, realizes the three-dimensional display of the pipeline facilities andmanagement,analysis function, real-time update of pipeline data,constructs a reasonable datastructure that makes3D visualization system of coalbed gas underground pipeline networkvisualization to become a unified management platform.To let the hidden pipeline networkpresents in front of users intuitively,while to improve the efficiency of pipeline managementanalysis and facilitate the leadership analysis and decision making.
