Minimal quantities of lubricant (MQL) is in the compressed gas mixed with traces of pollution-free oil mist, instead of a large number of coolant in cutting zone is a kind of green cutting technology of cooling and lubrication.It not only reduces the pollution of the environment, but also good atomizing medium for cutting the osmosis boosted its cooling and lubrication effect, in the turning, milling, grinding applications.But due to the minimal quantities of lubricant used in the lubricating medium in cutting the heat transfer and antifriction ability under high temperature is not high, limiting its application in the processing effect.Therefore, based on the characteristics of nanofluids has excellent ability of cooling and lubrication, this article put forward for minimal quantities of lubricant thermal physical characterization and preparation of nanofluids, experimental study on machining.Then nanofluid used in minimal quantities of lubricant cutting, the cutting force and cutting temperature changes.Main work includes the following aspects:1.The preparation of nanofluids for minimal quantities of lubricant and suspension stability studyWith nano-graphite,nano-molybdenum disulfide as suspension medium, with deionized water, PriECO6000polyol ester and unsaturated Lb2000plant oil as the base, using ultrasonic vibration, the preparation of the graphite, molybdenum disulfide of water-based and oil-based nanometer fluid, respectively adopt the static settling down and uv-vis spectrophotometer method, studied the vibration time, base type, nanometer particle type and content on the preparation of the nanometer fluid dispersion stability, the influence of above factors on nanofluids are analyzed the influence of suspension stability mechanism.2. For minimal quantities of lubricant research in thermal and physical properties of nanofluidsRespectively using rotational viscometer, surface tensiometer, conductivity meter, coefficient of thermal conductivity measuring instrument for the preparation of nanofluid viscosity, surface tension, conductivity, thermal conductivity and specific heat were able to test and analysis of the vibration time, base type, nanometer particle type and content of the influence of the thermal physical properties of the nanofluid, for its application in minimal quantities of lubricant machining provides the basic data in thermal and physical properties.3. Nano cutting experimental study on the fluid minimal quantities of lubricantThrough dry cutting, liquid trace lubrication and nanofluids trace cutting experiment of45steel under the condition of lubrication, nanofluids minimal quantities of lubricant is studied on the main cutting force and cutting temperature, the influence of nanoparticles that fluid trace lubrication condition, the cutting force and cutting temperature is lower than the base fluid minimal quantities of lubricant, especially under high speed, and the content of nanoparticles and base types have important influence on its force reduction and cooling effect.
