Inorganic/polymer composites has the properties of both inorganic fillers and polymer materials, which are widely used in various fields and take a pivotal role in the new composite materials.The PVA films and NaTi2(PO4)3/PVA composite films were prepared by dipping and pulling method.The PVA films and NaTi2(PO4)3/PVA composite films were analyzed by UV-Visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy before and after artificial accelerated UV aging tests. The results showed that with the UV aging time increasing, the intensity of characteristic absorption peak of PVA films also increased significantly. And the spectra of NaTi2(PO4)3/PVA composite films changed unobtrusively. After72h UV aging, the UV reflectance spectra of NaTi2(PO4)3/PVA composite films were the most stable which the dosage of NaTi2(PO4)3was2.0%.Analysised the PVA films and NaTi2(PO4)3/PVA composite films by the thermograyimetric method, and investigated the effect of infilling NaTi2(PO4)3on the thermal properties of PVA films. The thermal stability of NaTi2(PO4)3/PVA composite films were higher than the PVA films. and the more the NaTi2(PO4)3doped the thermal stability were better.Tested the different contents of NaTi2(PO4)3of NaTi2(PO4)3/PVA composite films by the electronic tensile testing machine, and studied the effect of the contents of NaTi2(PO4)3on the mechanical properties of PVA films. Investigated the retaining ratio of mechanical properties of PVA films and NaTi2(PO4)3/PVA composite films after the same UV aging test, the results showed that the mechanical properties of NaTi2(PO4)3/PVA composite films were better than the PVA films, and when the content of NaTi2(PO4)3was1.0%, the mechanical properties of NaTi2(PO4)3/PVA composite films was the best.Using the UV-Vis spectrophotometer research the transmittance of PVA films and NaTi2(PO4)3/PVA composite films, the result showed that glycerol could improve the transmittance of films; and the interaction between NaTi2(PO4)3powder and UV was strong which can decreased the transmittance at the ultraviolet part of the spectrum, but keeping high transmittance in the visible region. The conclusion was that the NaTi2(PO4)3powder cut off the ultraviolet radiation obviously and keep good transparency.Investigated the water resistance and water vapor transmission of PVA films and NaTi2(PO4)3/PVA composite films. found that NaTi2(PO4)3powder can improve the water resistance and enhance the moisture resistance of the films also.The studies above showed that NaTi2(PO4)3can make a positive influence on various properties of the PVA.
