Application of rare earth in the steel industry has been favored by domestic andforeign researchers, researchers have been testing at home and abroad to explore theapplication of rare earth in steel.For further verification of the rare earth microalloyingmechanism and on the corrosion resistance of steel, this paper chooses containing S, Plower A36ship plate steel as the research object, research the influence of organizationand performance when Ce is joined in A36ship plate steel.Based on A36ship plate steel as raw materials, pure cerium rare earth additive,with10kg vacuum induction furnace melting the steel with different contents of rareearth test.Testing the residual amount of rare earth in steel.By means of opticalmicroscope (OA),scanning electron microscope(SEM),energy spectrum (EDS) andanalyses the influence of rare earth A36Re ship plate steel groups and the influence ofthe inclusions.The use of laboratory accelerated corrosion experiments-full immersionexperiment, cycle immersion experiment analyzed the influence of rare earth on theproperties of test steel corrosion.Through experiment and analysis, the followingconclusions:A36ship plate steel samples after forging, normalizing treatment can get such asaxial ferrite and pearlite.With the increase of Ce content in steel, steel grain refinement,obviously uniform organization change.When the Ce content reaches0.009%, thepearlite in the steel significantly less.A36ship plate steel adding rare earth can not only purify grain boundary, at thesame time,it also have obvious deterioration effect, make the inclusions in steel by thelong strip into a ball of rare earth sulphur oxides.These elliptic ball high melting point ofrare earth compounds decreased stress concentration caused by the inclusion of partialpoly.Improved the tensile fracture morphology, the toughening nest cubic shaped anddistribution more uniform. Rare earth Ce join into the A36ship plant steel can influence mechanicalproperties.when Ce content reaches0.009%,the impact toughness increased by9%.Rare earth micro alloying improves the A36ship plate steel comprehensivemechanical properties.A36Re ship plate steel corrosion rate is less than ordinary A36ship plate steel.Rustlayer was observed, A36Re ship plate steel rust layer, within easy to form black rustlayer is dense, and not easy to fall off.Microstructure and electrochemical corrosion dataanalysis found that A36tendency of ship plate steel corrosion is more serious, andA36Re ship plate steel is given priority to with uniform corrosion.XRD analysis foundthat two kinds of steel corrosion products mainly of iron oxides and iron carbonyl.Cycle immersion corrosion found A36Re ship plate steel corrosion rate increaseswith the increase of corrosion time first and then.By comparing the found A36Re shipplate steel corrosion products distribution more uniform density, rust layer resistancevalue is higher.XRD analysis found that A36Re planking have protective α-FeOOHcontent in steel, improve the protection ability of the rust layer on the substrate.
