With the rapid development of aerospace, national defense advancedtechnology and high-tech products for civilian use, ultra-precision machine tool isnecessary. The research and development of the ultra-precision machine tool havebecome one of the key and core technologies of the modern advancedmanufacturing technology. Based on an ultra-precision machine tool formachining the ultra-precision surface of roller drum used for the forming of LEDlight guide late, this thesis will introduce from three aspects: the design of themechanical structure, the research of hydrostatic slides static characteristics andthe analysis of the machine tool mechanical properties. Thus, the main researchcontents in the thesis include,Design the mechanical structural of the ultra-precision machine tool. On thebasis of the size range of the work piece, formulating the overall design schemeof the machine tool and determining the arrangement among the variouscomponents and parts. Then determine the structure design of parts and themachine and the type of functional units (such as main shaft, guide rail, drivingdevice and feedback device). And through hydrostatic slide design and calculate,determining the structure shape and size of hydrostatic slides(X and Z) so as tocomplete the design hydrostatic slides. In the end, complete the mechanicalstructural design of the machine and parts.The research of hydrostatic slides static characteristics. Hydrostatic slidesare used in the machine tool. In order to ensure the requirement of the hydrostaticslide bearing capacity and stiffness, it is necessary to make a research on thehydrostatic slide static characteristics. According to deduce the fluid lubricationReynolds equation, and make use of weighted residual method and finite elementanalysis method to set up the hydrostatic lubrication theory model. After that,with the help of MATLAB programming to solve, we will get the load capacityand stiffness of the slides.Analyze the machine tool mechanical properties. According to the finiteelement method, making use of ANSYS to analyze the statics, dynamics andthermal analysis of the machine tool and relevant function parts, the situation ofthe corresponding deformation and stress, modal and vibration models, thechange of temperature and so on will be obtained. Based on the analysis of theresults, theoretical support and advices will be provided for the improvement ofthe machine tool structure.In summary, based on the mechanical structures, do the theory analysis and research on them and depend on the results, guide the mechanical structure design.Make sure that the mechanical structure of ultra-precision machine tool isreasonable, repeat the process.
