With the development of technology, the quality demanding is higher and higher forthe users of cold-rolled strip. The strip of transient temperature on the online flatnessimpact the detection accuracy and flatness control accuracy obviously. How to control thetemperature of the strip precisely has become one focus of the actual production.In order to achieve accurate prediction of temperature, this thesis considers the tworoll temperature heat, such as source-frictional heat and deformation heat, in the coldrolling process firstly. The amount of the heat generated in the two rolling is very sensitiveto the speed, reduction, rolling pressure, strip material or specification, and the lateralshape of the roll gap. To solve the above problems, this thesis will study the mechanisticmodel of the rolling process deeply. The author chooses the strip element variation methodto solve metal plastic deformation model, and chooses the segmentation model to solvethe elastic deformation of the roll system. Then by the iteration of two models, solving thelateral distribution of precise rolling force and exit gauge, and then calculate the frictionheat and thermal deformation accurately.Considering the deformation of the strip element in the process of rolling temperaturemodel, the distribution of friction heat and thermal deformation in the transverse arenon-uniform. Among the racks, the transverse coolant is in uneven distribution. Thetemperature prediction model of rolls and strips is founded by using the finite differencemethod, which based on the principle of conservation of energy. Thus this thesisconcluded the calculation method about the temperature difference among the transversestrips.Based on the above models, the cold rolling mill temperature prediction andcompensation software is developed by using MATLAB language and VisualC++mixedprogramming, which is fast, stable, accurate, and more user-friendly. This software canstudy various factors that influence the temperature difference on the strip, and calculatethe temperature strip attached to the detection roller stress to achieve the purpose oftemperature compensation.
