Dimethyl disulfide is a widely used organic matter, it can be used as oilhydrodesulfurization catalyst presulfurization agents, industrial solvents, ethylenecracking coking inhibitor, in the production of pesticides fenthion raw material, soilfumigants, stench, calibration, as well as the regulations allow use of flavouring essencein our country. Methanethiol synthesis of dimethyl sulfide is a kind of2route process issimpler, mild reaction condition, low technology and equipment requirements, suitablefor domestic and industrial level of technology. But at the moment of taking methylmercaptan and sulfur as raw material to dimethyl disulfide ether synthesis reaction,temporary value its research into the dynamics of both at home and abroad, in order tofill the blank of the domestic no this reaction kinetics study, this paper has carried out ina batch reactor for synthesis of dimethyl sulfide two dynamics research. Throughresearch, aims to provide reference basis for industrial amplification.Reaction kinetic model should first be established according to the material formof the reaction, the reaction course and physical properties data, to determine the type ofreaction, and select the kinetic model. Methyl mercaptan synthesis of dimethyl sulfide isa gas, liquid, solid-phase reaction system coexist, for each of these reactions wereexponential form of the reaction rate equation. According to the experimental data, suchas the ratio of reactants, reaction time and reaction yield, show the rate of the reaction rby the material balance within the reactor stages of the concentration of critical material.Based on the model, solve the reaction rate equation with the fourth-order Runge-kuttamethod, the simulation results of dimethyl sulfide and dimethyl sulfide threeconcentration change trend with experiment gains compared to validate the modelrationality, then, fit the reaction rate equation parameters, such as pre-exponential factor,activation energy and reaction order. The kinetic data obtained in this study can forprovide reference data for the synthesis of dimethyl sulfide technical and industrialscale.This paper describes the design of a set of annual production capacity of3650tdimethyl disulfide reaction apparatus, according to the conditions of dimethyl sulfideproduction, based on the national standards, mainly on the design selection of dimethylsulfide reactor, focus on the ideas and methods of the reactor design, including thevolume of the reactor, the body dimensions of reactor, and calculations of the heat transfer and selection of agitation. By understanding the characteristics of the productprocess and analysis of material characteristics for equipment selection, in accordancewith relevant industry standards, calculations the device parameters, in accordance withspecific parameters to ensure the safe and efficient production to meet national qualitystandards, reduces the cost of equipment investment and saves budget.
