Karst rocky desertification is the most serious ecologicalenvironment problems in the southwest region of China, causing soilerosion, rocks exposed, ability of ecological system of regulatedwater weakening, drought and flood disasters occur frequently, etc.At present, the sharp contradiction between population-resources-environments in Karst Rocky Desertification Area has become themain obstacle to the protection, construction and sustainabledevelopment of mountain ecosystems in Guizhou. Based on the complexgeographical environment of Karst Mountains, explore the dynamicevaluation of karst ecological environmental quality and differentdegrees of human intervention to improve the quality of karstenvironment is necessary. It has important theoretical and practicalsignificance in the realization of Karst mountain resourcesdevelopment and ecological environmental protection coordinateddevelopment.According to the main problem for the ecological environmentin Karst Regions and national ecological environment constructionfor the southwest region needs, this article constructed theevaluation index system of ecological environment quality in Karstrocky desertification area, selected the typical evaluation unit,extracted thematic information by means of remote sensing, GIS andother technology to establish the ecological environmental quality assessment database. From the point of view of regional ecologicalrestoration, guarantee the regional sustainable development pointof view, karst ecological environment quality comprehensiveevaluation index system and method was proposed to quantify Karsteco-environment quality variation status during2000-2013inHuajiang Demonstration Area. Main research results are list below:(1) The evaluation results show that in2013, the overall ofassessment of the Karst ecological environment quality level inHuajiang Demonstration Area is grade II (relatively poor ecologicalenvironment quality) and III (ecological environmental quality ingeneral), the two together accounted for the total area ofdemonstration zone79%. The lowest gradeⅠ(poor quality of theecological environment) accounts for the total area demonstrationzone6.69%, good ecological environment quality region which is thegrade IV (good ecological environmental quality) and grade V(excellent ecological environment quality) respectively of thetotal area of demonstration zones9.54%and4.52%.(2) The Karst eco-environment quality changes of Huajiangdemonstration area from2000to2013shows that:GradeⅠ(poorquality of the ecological environment) and Grade II (relatively poorecological environment quality) presents obvious decreasing trend,while Grade IV (ecological environmental quality is good) and GradeV (environmental quality) region is also presents a slow upward trend. The quality of Karst eco-environment in demonstration areashad improved to some extent. This explains the Human interventionswhich the demonstration areas adopted gradually achieved somesuccess.(3) Through the map overlay analysis between “different humaninterventions in Huajiang demonstration area” and “2000-2013Dynamic changes in karst ecological environment quality”, theresults show that: in the implementation of human interventionmeasures of area, the Karst eco-environment quality improvementproportion are higher than the non-implementation area. On the otherside, the Karst eco-environment quality degradation proportion innon-implementation area is far higher than that of humanintervention areas. As the result of the comparative analysis of thesix kinds of human interventions, the improve proportion of Karsteco-environment quality in forest reservation area is the largest,the deterioration proportion is minimum. Artificial grass on Karsteco-environment quality improvement is the lowest, but has the mostobvious effect on environment remain. Karst eco-environment qualityimprovement ratio from high to low is forest reservation, protectionforest, terracing, water conservation forest, economic forest,artificial grass.
