Phenolic epoxy acrylate is widely used as prepolymer. the process of industrialmanufacture phenolic epoxy acrylate is taking addition reaction of phenolic epoxyresin and acrylic acid, adding a lot of solvent for reducing viscosity of the system,dropwise add the acrylic acid, after reaction, it was needed to remove the solvent.Due to the relatively high level of the product’s viscosity, inconvenient usage in theproduction process, in addition,it needed to add a large amount of reactive diluentswhen making dope,the reslut was that, the current synthesis will result in increasedcosts, on the other hand, the technology will become complex.O-cresol glycidyl ether(JX-017) is a kind of low viscosity epoxide which not only reduce the system’sviscosity,but also take part in the reaction of the system to produce newprepolymer,so as to improve the mechanical property of the cured product when itwas added to F-51. this thesis is put forward the method of adding JX-017to producenew photosensitive prepolymers in F-51. The contents of this thesis are as follows:New photosensitive prepolymers was synthesized with F-51/JX-017mixture andacrylic acid(AA) as the raw material, the result shows the optimal reaction conditionwas: the substrate were mixed on the scale of4:1, the reaction temperature was105℃,the dosage of the catalyst triphenylphosphine was0.80%, and the dosage of thepolymerization photoinhibitor-methoxyphenol was0.80%,which was the optimalreaction condition. Then photoinitiate the compounded new photosensitiveprepolymer was initiated by two different photoinitiators-UV1173and UV184. Byanalyzing the initiation rate and the mechanical property of UV-cured film, the resultshows that the photoinitiator-UV184was more matching to the prepolymer whoseoptimal dosage was5%.And the second,modified nano-SiO2was filled into the new kind ofphotosensitive prepolymers. The result manifests that modified nano-SiO2has betterdispersity when the coatings content was below5%. And hardness, tensile propertyand impact strength of its cured film was investigated,The experiment indicates thatthe hardness, tensile property and impact strengthadding was improved by addition of modified nano-SiO2.
