Poyang Lake is a national repository of precious natural resources. For a longtime, people have made enormous economic and social benefits in the developmentand utilization of water resources in the process of Poyang Lake, but there also comewith sediment accumulation, deterioration of water quality, reduce water storagecapacity and other issues.“Facing the problem of Poyang Lake,’water’ is the core,crucial in reducing the amount of water and drop of water quality”. Protect andimprove the ecological environment in Poyang Lake are required to protectthe water environment as the basis and starting point.Based on the processing and analysis of the historical data of Poyang Lakehydrology, remote sensing and other collected, and make the annual remote sensingimages of Poyang Lake region to vector by remote sensing technology. Quantitativeanalysis the Eco hydrological configuration and the changes in lake water body statusand trends, to provide reference for the protection and rational use of water resourcesin Poyang Lake.The main contents and results are as follows:1. The paper introduces the wetlands and eco-hydrological and hydrologicalconnectivity of remote sensing research progress at home and abroad.Make sure aclear purpose and significance of the study. According to the operational andscientific principles, determine the content and technology road and then determinedthe boundaries of the study area based on the information and research need.2. According to the study need to select the appropriate remote sensing data, andthen complete the remote sensing images of pretreatment stitching work. Finally, atotal of20scene vector datas of Poyang lake area from2012to2013and3vectordata of Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone in2000,2005and2010have beenfinished. Then, output maps and statistic data.3. Calculate the eco-hydrological configuration of Poyang Lake, and know theminimum ecological water and the suitable ecological water and the area of centerand activity. Combined with the interpretation data analyzed the changes of water with the water level by the hydrological data and hydrological connectivity, and thenwere compared with the result of the center and activity.4. Respectively, quantitative analysis the eco-hydrological pattern variation ofecological economic zone in time and space from the overall and counties (cities,districts), witch used of area and eco-hydrological pattern index. And described thefactors of water reduced by natural, economy and policy, according the interpret datasand historical data.
