With the rapid development of industry, the material of various performance had thehigher request in our actual production application, to be able to adapt to the harsh complexworking environment. Now a lot of parts failure begins with its surface, For example, frictionand wear, corrosion, crushing, torsion and bending fatigue cause mechanical parts surfacemicro crack in diffusion gradually, as to make the parts failure fracture. Therefore, lasercladding technology as a new surface modification technology, Laser cladding layer on thesurface of the substrate material to improves the properties of mechanical parts and reducedthe parts failure fracture tendency, Become a kind of new material surface modificationtechnology.In this article, using the HWL-W300A YAG laser, the pressure vessel steel (Q345R) wasprepared on the surface of Fe45Cr15Mo15C15B10amorphous composite coating. By means ofX-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy spectrum analysis(EDS), analyzes the phase composition, microstructure and composition distribution ofcladding layer; By numerical control microhardness tester and electrochemical workstation,analyzes the mechanical properties and electrochemical corrosion properties of claddinglayer.The results showed that the cladding layer and the substrate material to form the goodmetallurgical combination, has a good macro formability; Laser cladding layer is composedof amorphous and crystalline phase, the main crystal phase with Fe, Fe3C, Fe23B6, Cr3C2andMo2C; Cladding layer is divided into three parts of cladding region, combining zone and heataffected zone, Cladding layer is composed of planar crystal, fine reticular structure ofdendrites and the gray base without any organization status; At the same time, This paperstudies The process parameters to phase composition, microstructure, Mechanical propertiesand corrosion resistance of the cladding layer;Results show that with the increase of laserpower, the diffraction peaks of the crystal phase will be increase and strengthen, amorphouscontent will be reduced, cladding layer organization of the network skeletal dendrites by tinydense gradually become bulky sparse, microhardness of the cladding layer present a lower trend, the corrosion resistance of cladding layer presents a gradual decrease trend. With theincrease of laser scanning rate, the diffraction peak of crystal phase will be increase andstrengthen, amorphous content will be reduce, cladding layer organization of the networkskeletal dendrites will become more fine and dense, microhardness of the cladding layer willbe presents a trend of first increases then decreases, corrosion resistance of cladding layerwill be a trend of first increases then decreases.
