Paste filling is one of the most important means to achieve green mining, and itis also an important way to achieve recycling coal resources left over in old mines.However, aged mine is often of small well-type and the process and equipment arepoor, and always recover thick coal pillar with slice mining.But it is poor that studieson the stablility of artificial roof made of filling body. In the research backgroundthat overburden control of thick coal pillar paste filling slice mining in Han Wangmine, this paper focus on the studies of the factors that influence stability of artificialroof, the factors that influence abutment pressure and the factors that influenceimportant chamber protection, obtaining the following main results:(1)The method of false dip short-wall is putted forward to reduce the influenceof soft face between different filling body. After completion of the upper slice mining,mining of the lower slice is under the artificial roof, because of the soft face betweentwo filling bodies that come from different working cycle, false dip short-wall can tiltthe upper strip filling body to reduce the influence of soft face.(2)By establishing a mechanical model of immediate roof, immediate roofcollapse step is calculated to be6.6~14.2m by means of elastic mechanics. Result ofnumerical simulation show that immediate roof collapse step is about20m, so theimmediate roof collapse step is estimated to be6.6~14.2m.(3)The judging formula that can judge whether overburden applies load toartificial roof is deduced out by establishing a mechanical model of artificial roof.Base on the formula, the relationship among artificial roof collapse step and strengthand mining width is deduced out, then optimize the process parameters of paste filling(4)This paper studies the relationship among mining height and the peak ofabutment pressure:In the process of mining height rise from0, the peak of abutmentpressure rise from0to a certain number, then stabilize gradually. In the same time thenumerical simulation results verifies this conclusion(numerical simulation resultsshow that there is a clear logarithmic relationship between mining height and the peakof abutment pressure, and so is the influence range of abutment pressure).
