In Mining Dump Truck AC drive electric control system, the core is speed controland torque control excitation. The synchronous generator is driven by a diesel engine,and the power is transmitted through the rectifier and inverter to the asynchronousmotor which is located on the tire. The reliability of excitation control relates to the safeoperation of the generators, in order to take full advantage of the output power of thediesel engine, which can match the output power and the electric power produced bygenerator, excitation control plays a particularly important role. The motor speed controlstrategy apply direct torque control strategy.The traditional PID control requires precise linear model that cannot achieveeffective control of non-linear objects, but fuzzy control is easy to implement asintelligent control algorithm does not require a precise mathematical model, and thecharacter of fuzzy logic control is more convenient and better robustness. This thesiswill study from the principle of synchronous generator excitation control system andthrough building Matlab/Simulink simulation model, to comparative analysis of thetraditional PID control strategy and fuzzy PID control strategy, which select groups ofparameters for the design of excitation controller simulation, and conventional PIDcontrol results were compared. Experimental results show that the effect of synchronousgenerator excitation control based on fuzzy PID proposed in this thesis is good, and thatthe dynamic and static characteristics of the system are improved, which are able toquickly adjust different operating conditions, and the system has a stronger anti-jamming capability to adapt to and improve the control effect.Induction motor direct torque control system attracts widespread attention as it hasa clear structure design, simple control scheme and superior performance characteristics.This article will regard asynchronous motor and inverter unit as a whole, according to adetailed study of its mathematical model, to build a direct torque control simulation system, and study the characteristics of direct torque control method and the problemsof theoretical and simulation. Simulation results achieved stator flux circle, excellenttorque and speed response, high-performance AC drive system, direct torque controlsystem uses the speed regulator is usually PI regulator, the system does not so fast andstrong anti-jamming capability robustness of the system parameter perturbations is notideal. In this thesis, the design of a variable structure control is based on the speedregulator, the system has better robustness and the dynamic and static characteristics,and simulation results show the feasibility of the method.
