The mine electric locomotive is the main transport equipment in coal field. Its power drive system will have a direct bearing on the running of economy and safe reliability. To DC drive system mine electric locomotive for Chinese current failure rate is high, maintenance costs is high. To AC drive system energy consumption of AC series resistance is high, dynamic performance is poor. To deal with these problems, an advanced speed-adjusting scheme is presented based on AC speed control system by direct torque control.In the derivation of the two-phase stationary and rotating coordinate mathematical model for three-phase induction motor the basic principle of direct torque control is stated. Fuzzy self-adaptive PID speed regulator is designed by detailed analysis and research. Because the identification of the stator resistance within low speed range is difficult, using fuzzy observer does online estimation of stator resistance. The control system software and hardware design ideas is given based on TMS320F2812 DSP chip, and make use of Matlab/Simulink simulation software for modeling and simulation of the entire system. The simulation result shows that the control system can meet the coal mine complex operating environment.
