Yongshan coal mine is a coal and gas outburst coal mine. Especially it is the most severity when rock cross-cut coal uncovering.With the increase of mining depth, geostress and gas pressure increase, the risk of coal and gas outburst will be increased. This article uses the theoretic study, the field measurement, the experiment analysis, the computer simulation and other comprehensive research methods, studies the main influence factors of coal and gas outburst of rock cross-cut coal uncovering in Yongshan coal mine, puts forward suitabal outburst prevention measures.Geostress, gas pressure and physical and mechanical properties of coal and rock are three important factors affecting coal and gas outburst, this paper uses different methods to study the three factors in Yongshan coal mine. In theory research, it combines with the research achievements of coal and gas outburst mechanism, studies the process of outburst, the role of various factors, the mechanical properties of coal seam, the failure criteria, master the features of outburst coal seam. It measures outburst parameters of2#,4#,5#three main coal seams. Through the related parameters, and combining outburst historical data of the mining area, it carries on the preliminary analysis and evaluation. It analyses the influencing factors of coal seam permeability, studies the change rule of coal seam permeability, measures the porosity, permeability coefficient, borehole gas attenuation coefficient of each seam. Through these parameters, the degree of difficulty of coal seam gas drainage was evaluated. It has certain guiding significance for gas control measures. It uses FLAC3D to simulate the process of the change of geostress in rock cross-cut, analyses simulation results combining with actual situation, and obtains the rule of stress distribution around the tunnel in rock cross-cut. It has certain guiding significance to coal seam pressure relief measures, thereby helping to prevent coal and gas outburst accident. It puts forward gas drainage,metal frame,coal solidifying to prevent outburst,and good results have been achieved.
