This research is about the extraction method of the flavones from the Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. Leaves by ethanol and the use of the extractive. Firstly, we determined the flavones content of the leaves. We optimized the experiment conditions, which is extracted by ethanol solution, by response surface methodology. The research takes ethanol volume, solid-to-liquid ratio (g/mL), extraction temperature and extraction time as the four experiment factors. And then analysed the experiment conditions by the single factor experiment and Box-Behnken combination. Through the experiment, we gained the results from two aspects.(1) The incidence order of the four factors:solid-to-liquid ratio> extraction time> extraction temperature> ethanol volume. Therein, the influence of solid-to-liquid ratio to the extraction number is extremely significant (p<0.01), the influence of extraction time is significant (p<0.05), and the interaction between ethanol volume and extraction time is significant (p<0.05).(2) Gained the optimum extraction process of flavones extracting:ethanol volume45%, solid-to-liquid ratio1:40(g/mL), extraction temperature82℃, extraction time82min. And under these conditions, the flavones extracted from Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. Leaves yields5.796%.In this research we tested the contents of five different flavones in the Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. leaves. In this experiment, we choose liquid chromatography as the testing method. Taking mangiferin, rutin, morin, myricetin and quercetin as the standard substance, tested if these five flavones existed in the Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. leaves and the different contents of them. We extracted the flavones under the optimum conditions, and tested the determinand liquid. Finally, we get the result that there are only rutin and quercetin in Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. leaves. And the content of rutin and quercetin is68.3μg/g and6.3μg/g, respectively. From the result, we can conclude that the total content of them is far away from the content of total flavones. So we are sure there must be some other flavones in heterophyllus Lam. leaves. It also come to a conclusion from the wave crest of the liquid chromatogram drawing. However, if we want to know what other flavones are, we need to do more and more studies on it. After concluding the optimum extracting condition and testing the flavones kinds. This study explored the use of the Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. leave flavones. We extracted the flavones under the optimum extracting conditions and made the extracting liquid into paste by evaporating the ethanol and water in it. And take the Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. leave paste into the soft-shelled turtle feed and Astronotus ocellatus feed in a regular percent to feed them. After a period of time, tested the signs and analysed the growth situation of them, The result can be a theory in the future study, The research made the extracted liquid into paste and tested the contents of flavones in the paste. Take the paste into the-20℃freezing condition. Take it out when we are about to do the experiment dissolve it with distilled water. And then made them equally distributed in the feed. Take the processed feed to feed the soft-shelled turtle feed and Astronotus ocellatus, respectively. The conclusion reached by a serious of testing, which include survival rate, specific growth rate, feed coefficient, viscera-to-body weight ratio, hepar-to-body weight ratio, orrhoimmunity signs, contour of body signs, relative weight gain rate, orrho physiology and biochemistry signs. The soft-shelled turtles had to be tested all above signs while the Astronotus ocellatus had to be tested the Astronotus ocellatus tested the former six. After analysing the nutrition facts, contour of body and the immunity signs, we made a conclusion that flavones in Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. leave can improve the immunity ability of the soft-shelled turtle feed and Astronotus ocellatus, effectively. Besides, because the soft-shelled turtles are edible animal. And the viscera and the hepar became smaller by eating the feed which contained Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. leave flavones. Therefore, it improves the edible ability of soft-shelled turtles. The study is about the extracting optimum of the Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. leaves and the use of the flavones in it. And the result of this study is satisfied. But this study is only a small part in the whole Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam. Leave flavones research. We need to do more and more work in the mainly ingredient component of the total flavones and the flavones paste additive agent to the feed.
