With worse heat island effect caused by city expansion, it’s significantly influenced the urban climate, change of environment and the quality of life for residents. The layout of different cities has different ecological environment effect. Cities with different functions show variable thermal patterns, this study directs at horizontal contrasting the heat island in year and season. In yearly analysis, the data source was Landsat TM, through the thermal infrared bands using the algorithm of ARTIS inversion of Heilongjiang Province the surface temperature of the Ha-Da-Qi different types of cities in1995(1989) and2010. We analyzed the surface temperature of temporal and spatial based on robust statistical methods to extract the mean and standard to ensure comparability. In seasonal analysis, we’ll use MODIS LST product. It will establish heat island intensity evaluation model to quantitative analysis four seasons temperature and spatial change of Ha-da qi. Aiming to verify the TM LST is reasonable, it’ll use MODIS LST to check out the result. At the same time, papers will use MODIS product of land cover types to analysis change features under different land use type.The results showed that:comparing to TM LST and MODIS LST, the temperature D-value is fewer than3K. Then we can use TM image to analysis microcosmic thermal field and MODIS image to analysis macroscopic thermal field. Comparing to TM image September22nd and MODIS image September; the temperature D-value is also under3K. Then we can use TM image in a certain day to analysis spatial pattern. According to analysis spatial pattern, high zone in Harbin are mainly centralized in the industrial zone, bustling commercial district, high population density areas, university construction, development zone and the proportion of heat island areas was28.4%,45.2%. High zones in Qiqihar are mainly distributed in the industrial zone, bustling commercial district, airport, Nanyuan and Beiyuan Development zone. The proportion of heat island areas was36.3%,46.8%. High zones in Daqing distributed in built up area, bare area and saline land. Low zones were located in the vegetation coverage and water area.Heat island intensity model was suitable for evaluation different functional cities on heat island effect intensity. Harbin was strongest in January, April, and July. Daqing was strongest in April. Qiqihar was strongest in July. The factors which enhanced urban thermal environment were built-up concentration degree, Heat islands in Harbin were fragmentation, Daqing were scatter, while were agglomeration in Qiqihar, which were fit with the heat island effect distribution. According to underlying surface, construction land and unutilized land had a high temperature and cultivates land, grassland, forest could effectively reduce thermal environment. Artificial heat source, urban expansion and climate factor can also effect the thermal environment. It was affected by kinds of factors, but not the only one. Analysis the genesis of thermal environment in different functional cities can have a mutual learning in urban ecological environment construction. Built up area in Daqing is scatter was the main reason of inconspicuous heat island effect.Construction of ecological environment should be paid more attention by Qiqihar in the future. Harbin, Qiqihar should draw on the experience of urban planning layout and the industry layout of Daqing.
