| As important toxic organic pollutants in atmosphere which have risk and hazards on environment, ecology and the human health, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) have aroused worldwide attention in recent years and become a hot topic of environmental sciences. Due to the property of strong adsorption on atmospheric particles, especially high molecular weight of PAHs, the study on sources, concentrition, distribution characteristics and other aspects of PAHs have important significance for the protection of human health and the maintenance of the benign ecosystems. The concentrition levels, sources and distribution charicteristics of PAHs in atmospheric particles of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region were studied in this paper. The samples of atmospheric particles were collected from8sampling sites of four cities (Hohhot, Chifeng, Tongliao and Ordos) of Inner Mongolia during the summer and winter of2012. Sampling time was continued for one week and247samples were collected totally. The samples were subjected to pretreatment process of soxhlet extraction and purification, and analysied by GC-MS finally. The studies reach the following conclusions:1) The main pollutants of PAHs in atmospheric particle of major cities in Inner Mongolia are3-5rings.2) Concentration range of total PAHs are20.992-54.161ng/m3and20.191-52.011ng/m3of TSP and PM10in summer, respectively; concentration range of total PAHs are39.21-263.846ng/m3and34.127-251.401ng/m3of TSP and PM10in winter, respectively.3) Concentration range of Bap are1.557-5.149ng/m3and1.574-4.466ng/m3of TSP and PM10in summer, respectively; concentration range of Bap are3.644-7.185ng/m3and3.647-11.261ng/m3of TSP and PMio in winter,respectively.4) The concentrition of PAHs in TSP is higher than that of in PM10. The winter of PAHs in the Inner Mongolia is significantly higher than that of in the summer. Futhermore, the concentition in western cities is slightly higher than that of the middle and east cities.5) According to ratio methoed analysis, the pollution sources of PAHs in the Inner Mongolia summer atmosphere particles are mainly from the burning of fossil fuels and emmition of motor vehicle, while the main pollution sources in winter are combustion of coal and emition of motor vehicle. |
