Flocculation is the most commonly used method of water treatment technology,the development of cheap and high efficient coagulant to non-toxic direction.Composite flocculant can take advantage of the complementary advantages betweenthe metalions, the composite flocculant is different according to the characteristics ofwastewater can develop by a multi-component special function.The research is progress of polymerization silicate composite flocculant bydomestic and foreign, Mainly sodium silicate, aluminum chloride and zinc chloride asthe main raw material, Copolymer prepared using a new type of flocculant with highlevels of stability and strong polymerization of silicic acid-zinc silicatepolymerization(PSAZ). First, examine the polymerization of silicic acid activation pH,activation concentration and temperature on the polymerization of silicic acid to thegel time as a reference value to optimize process parameters polymerization of silicicacid. Then the introduction of zinc ions preparation of poly aluminum silicate zinc,methylene blue solution to simulate wastewater, investigate n (Al+Zn)/n (Si), n (Al)/n (Zn), activation time and the amount of the analog effects of bleaching and dyeingwater sample rate. When the polymerization of silicic acid activation test proved pHof3.0, activation concentration0.3mol/L, the temperature is15-25℃is the optimalsynthesis conditions polymerized silicic acid. When n (Al+Zn)/n (Si) is0.5, n (Al)/n (Zn) is1, activated2hours the mixture was added aluminum zinc bleaching bestadded in an amount of1.0mmol/L the maximum decolorization rate to83.4%.The results showed that: Preparation is optimized poly aluminum zinc in watersamples6-8pH value conditions, curing time is3-4days flocculants, able to maintaina good bleaching effect, the highest decolorization rate of89.3%. A sewage treatmentplant in city of WeiFang dyeing wastewater as research subjects, and PAC, AlCl3andZnCl2on the removal of water pollution indicators do different contrast in200mlwater sample, by adjusting the dosage, PSAZ has the highest removal efficiency.Under optimal dosage, watery COD, turbidity and color treatment effect see, PSAZ and PAC, AlCl3small difference, ZnCl2removal worst. By comparison, PSAZtreatment of printing and dyeing wastewater color and COD removal effect is best.According to the mechanism of flocculation, multinuclear complex compoundsformed inorganic polymer flocculant hydrolysis with a strong charge neutralizationand bridging role, and the role of the volume sweep netting, to overcome theshortcomings of traditional flocculants. PSAZ is a highly effective non-toxicinorganic polymer flocculants, with good development prospects.
